We took a quick trip this weekend to visit Josh, one of Rob's childhood friends. He and his family live in a huge old house right in the middle of this quaint town. Everything was within walking distance.
We had the best time eating, chatting, eating, golfing, antiqueing, eating, being entertained by their 4-year-old, oh and did I mention EATING! They have the best local eateries!! And for once, I ate my weight at a Smorgasboard. Followed in the morning by donuts from a local bakery, and dinner at an amazing pizza pub.
We were also entertained for countless hours by their 4-year-old. He's such a hoot! When we weren't eating or laughing, we were enjoying the beautiful weather on their large front porch. I felt very... "Rascal Flats, Mayberry."
