Well, if you notice, its been around nine months since our last post. And boy have things changed around the Comer household. As many of you know, we have been expecting our first baby. Well, our due date came and went this past weekend and we still didn't have a bundle of joy to bring home. I think I can safely speak for Melissa and say that she was more than ready for him to make his arrival. We finally had to schedule an induction Friday at 4:00 AM. That's right, four in the stinking morning. We might as well have came in the night before because I could not sleep with anticipation. Honestly, I thought Melissa would go into labor before we even made it to our induction time, but our little guy was not ready to come out. We started the induction around 6:00 and by 1:00 (as I was in line at the cafeteria getting lunch) Melissa was ready to push. Our son was born less than thirty minutes later. So world, please welcome Robert Neal Comer. He was 7 pounds 12 ounces and 20 inches long. He and mom are both doing great. I have posted a few pictures below of us at the hospital. I also threw one in there of his room that we are dying to take him home and show him. I hope he likes trucks and tractors.
Fun Hayride!
